The Spelling Manor Grand Foyer Chandelier

A Very Fine and Palatial French 19th Century Louis XV Style Figural Gilt-Bronze and Baccarat Crystal Forty-Eight Light Chandelier. The large finely chased gilt-bronze frame with scrolls, flower and foliage designs and with mask figures of Putti, surmounted with cut-glass prisms, pendants and obeliscs interlaced with diamond-shaped crystal swags. The upper wax-holders stamped Baccarat. Includes the large ceiling canopy. Circa: Paris, 1870. Ref.: A1743

A Very Fine and Palatial French 19th Century Louis XV Style Gilt-Bronze and Crystal Thirty-Three Light Twelve Candelabra Chandelier Attributed to Baccarat. The large finely chased gilt-bronze frame surmounted with cut-glass prisms, pendants and obeliscs with molded glass plaques and color-crystals. Circa: Paris, 1880. Ref.: A1742
An Important Palatial Very Fine and Rare Italian 18th/19th Century Florentine Rococo Gildwood Carved Six-Candlearm and Twenty Four-Light Chandelier. The scrolled candlearms, each with three single-light candelabra, above an arcorn cartouche, now electrified. All gilding is 24ct gold leaf, fully restored and rewired. Condition is just excellent. Circa: Florence, 1800.

A Very Fine and Palatial French 19th Century Louis XV Style Figural Gilt-Bronze and Crystal Thirty-Three Light Chandelier, probably by Baccarat, after a model by Jacques Caffieri (French, 1678-1755) with twenty one Candelabra Arms, three gilt-bronze cherubs each holding a wreath and three sets of three-headed Winged Griffins, the central bronze ball in a deep-cobalt-blue enamel with fleur de liz decorations. A Very Fine and Palatial French 19th/20th Century Gilt-Bronze and Fitted-Crystal, probably by Baccarat, Thirteen-Light Figural Chandelier centered with a Putto playing cymballs, four candlearms each with twin branches holding a frosted glass shades and beaded-glass bulb-covers, hanging from four draped support with tassels and a domed crown. The bottom plaffonier with fitted cut-crystal edged panels in the form of an upside-down dome surmounted with female masks. Circa: Paris, 1900. Ref.: A1744
A Very Fine and Large French 19th/20th Century Ormolu and Silvered Bronze Six Light Gasolier Chandelier, now electrified. Circa: Paris, 1900. The impressive suspending frame with six scrolling foliate-cast rods in a two-tone finish with silvered and gilt-bronze mounts in the form of flowers, the center bowl-shaped body surmounted by a baluster three-handled vase with figures of Putti, all issuing six straight arms, each with its original Hurricane glass shades. The eight floral twin-light-arms fitted with frosted and clear-glass icicle frosted shades, the body with eight oval concave cut-glass panels in the form of sunbursts with matching rectangular concave cut-glass inserts. The center cut-glass frosted glass plafonnier with swag details and ending with a gilt-bronze acorn finial. The top canopy in the form of a sunburst. The inside with eighteen additional lights.
