A Very Fine and Palatial French 19th Century Louis XV Style Figural Ormolu Mounted Kingwood, Tulipwood and Rosewood Floral Marquetry Long-Case Regulator, after a Model by CHARLES CRESSENT (French, 1685-1768). The circular porcelain clock face with Roman numerals and inscribed Henry Dasson, a Paris. The ormolu mounts stamped "GP" After the bronzier Pierre Gouthière (1740-1806). Circa: Paris, 1880. A Very Fine French 19th Century Louis XV Style Plum-Mahogany and Ormolu Mounted Tall-Case Regulator by Revollon Frers. The Roman numeral dial signed Revollon - M. Lion, with hands ending in the shape of a sunburst, the tall and slender case decorated with floral wreaths and centered with an allegorical figure of a maiden playing the tambourine above a decorative mount of an urn.
