A Very Fine and Large French Napoleon III Gilt Bronze Figural Mantel Clock, The enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, time and strike movement, stamped Medaille de Bronze, L'Marti et Cie and 6966 E.B and 12. 3, housed within a waisted case inset with a bacchanalian frieze of frolicking putti, surmounted by an urn with goat's head handles festooned with flowers, supported on the arms of flanking Bacchante terms decorated with grapevines, all raised on a conforming plinth.
