Description

A Very Fine French Napoleon III Ormolu Mounted Cut-Brass and Tortoiseshell-Inlaid "Boulle" Tilt-Top Centre Table, Third Quarter 19th Century.

The shaped top with foliate-cast border, center by a circular reserve etched with a figure of Cupid, surrounded by scrolling foliage and Bacchic masks, on a similarly decorated square support with spiral pilasters and acanthus clasps, on splayed legs terminating in lion masks and castors. Fully Restored and in excellent condition.
