Description:

An Important Palatial Very Fine and Rare Italian 18th Century Florentine Rococo Gildwood Carved Six-Candlearm and Twenty Four-Light Chandelier. The scrolled candlearms, each with three single-light candelabra, above an arcorn cartouche, now electrified. All gilding is the original 24kt gold, fully restored and rewired. Condition is just excellent. Circa: Florence, 1770.

Note: From the Estate of Mrs. Nancy Oakes Von Hoyningen-Huene, daughter of Sir Harry Oakes. In the 1930's Sir Harry Oakes was known to be the richest man in the world.
