Description:

A Very Fine Louis XV Gilt Metal and Porcelain-Mounted Lacquer Encrier. The shaped triangular black lacquer base fitted with two turquoise porcelain ink pots and centering a figure kneeling on one knee and holding a shaped vessel of blossoms before him, all before two scrolling blossom branches terminating in candle cups. Circa: Paris, 1780.
