A Very Large Fine Palatial Pair of French 19th Century "Val D'Osne" Cast Iron Torchere  Figures Reminiscent of "Day & Night" Each Depicting a Standing Larger-Than- Life-Size Semi-Nude Maiden with an Arm Raised Holding a Large White Glass Globe, on a Circular Plinth. Circa: 1880
Plaque on base reads: FONDERIES D'ART DU VAL D'OSNE, 58 Bd VOLTAIRE, PARIS.

Provenance: Maison de La Riviêre, Monaco.
