These tables boast intricately cast serpentine gilt bronze frames featuring an ornate apron adorned with bearded male masks flanked by swaged floral garlands, C-scrolls, and acanthus motifs. They stand on four elegantly curved cabriole legs joined by an 'X' stretcher, all terminating in floral sabots, supporting luxurious veined green Verde Antico marble tops. Both tables are elegantly engraved with "Ciampaglia" on the apron, suggesting they were likely a special private commission by Luigi Ciampaglia, possibly crafted by either the Fonderia Ciampaglia or the Fonderia Chiurazzi. A Very Fine and Rare French Louis Philippe Carom Billiard - Draughts - Card - International Checkers Game Table by "THIS". The elegant rosewood table features a removable square top with a checkered inlaid design, suitable for playing international checkers. The top is adorned with a brass inlaid trim for added sophistication. Inside, the carom billiard compartment is lined with green felt and includes three balls, a red and two white, as well as two shooter-billiard poles with trigger. The table is supported by a circular tri-legged rosewood base on casters, adorned with amber molded glass knobs for adjusting the top's tilt. Inside, the interior trim proudly displays the cabinet maker's 'bubble level' plaque, which reads "'THIS' Jeux de Jardin - Jeux de Salon - Breveté S.G.D.G. - Fournisseur de S M L'imperatrice - BOUL.t Du Temple 43 Paris" showcasing its origin and craftsmanship.
